Love yourself

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and will all your mind; and Love our neighbor as yourself. Luke 10:27

Loving God can be the easiest thing one can do. And loving others and ourself the most difficult. How do you love yourself? Is it by having the best house, car, clothes, kids, husband or church? Why do we find it difficult to love ourself? Do we remember all the poor choices we make and then make ourselves suffer for it? God doesn't, so why do we. Thankfully, God loved us first (1John 4:10). 

Because God loved us first, that means He accepted us when we made those poor choices. And even before those choices were made, He loved us. So we need to remeber that we are not superheroes and we will make mistakes. We need to release all the negative thoughts and not hold on to them even for a second. And the most important thing is that we have been forgiven.  That's how we can love ourself. Grace.
