Can't live on bones alone

Wow, it's been a while! Life gets you so busy and before you know it, months have passed and I haven't blogged about any of it. So let's fill you in on what's been going on since the first of May.

May brought the first of our summer fun with the children's ministry. Marc has been performing with different characters one of which is a dog. He named him Feed, the dog. The dog's known for eating scriptures, because dogs can't live on bones alone. The kids know it's time to feed Feed scriptures when he comes up.

Since hosting the puppetry festival, Marc has been in his workshop, aka The Soup Kitchen, building puppets of all variety shapes and sizes. He has such a talent for performing, characterization, and building puppets he dreams up. He built a special puppet for Chloe. We're going to surprise her with it for her birthday, which is coming up soon. You'll have to wait until then to see the pictures.

We had a fun end of the school year party for the kids. For two Wednesday nights, they partied like never before. The kids had a water game night and a movie night. The had a blast, as you can see. We having a good time getting to know the kids more and more as we serve.

God is answering some prayers for the children's ministry at our church. Wednesday night activies have evolved and continues to do so as we gear up for AWANA.
